Reels people actually watch.

Once a month I film at your business, then turn it into a month of Reels and ads, ready to post.

Send me your Instagram. I'll recut one of your Reels for free, so you can judge the work before we talk.

Every video opens with a hook written for its first 3 seconds, and every caption is timed to the word.

The problem

You're posting. It isn't landing.

In October 2026 I looked at the latest 89 Reels from 17 independent med spas, studios, gyms and dental practices in Northwest DC.

13likes on the typical Reel
60%of Reels got fewer than 20 likes
4,185followers on the typical account. The audience is already there.

How it works

One shoot a month. New videos every Friday.

  1. Once a month

    I film at your place

Up to 3 hours, around your schedule. I bring the gear and a shot list. Your team can add phone clips in between.

  2. Every week

    I write and edit

A hook for every video, tight cuts, captions and motion in your brand's fonts and colors. Your best Reels also become ad cuts.

  3. Every Friday

    You approve, it posts

Finished videos arrive with captions written. Approve them and I schedule them, or post them yourself.

Who you'd work with

Hi, I'm Sohil

I'm a product and motion designer in Logan Circle. Cold Open is just me: I do the filming, the hooks, the edits and the motion design myself, so you always deal with the person making your videos. My design work is at sohil.design.

A good fit if you're:

Probably not a fit for franchises with a corporate content team, or if your total marketing budget is under $3,000 a month.

Questions

Do I or my staff need to be on camera?

No. Plenty of strong Reels have no face in them: hands, the room, the work, and text on screen. If someone on your team likes the camera, I'll write them lines.

How much of my time does this take?

About an hour a month: a shoot day I work around, a few minutes approving each Friday's batch, and a 20-minute review call.

What if it doesn't work?

Before the pilot starts, I note the numbers on your last 8 Reels, and after two weeks you see how the new 8 compare. If they don't help, you've spent $750 and you keep 8 finished Reels and your motion kit.

Do you run our ads?

I make the ads: 8 cuts a month, each with a different opening, which is what Meta's ad system rewards. You or your agency run them.

We're a medical practice. How do you handle privacy?

Anyone identifiable on camera signs your consent form first, and I can give you a template. Before-and-afters are real and unretouched, with the disclosures Meta and the FTC expect, never AI-generated. If you're HIPAA-covered, I'll sign a business associate agreement, and patient footage never goes into AI tools.

Who owns the videos?

You do. The raw footage, the finished videos and your motion kit are yours to keep, even if we stop working together.
